Caramel Monster Mud Dip TM5

Ingredients x 1
140 g whipping cream
115 g dark brown sugar
85 g unsalted butter diced
60 g maple syrup
2 Tbsp cocoa powder
1 tsp vanilla bean paste
Preparation
Place whipping cream, brown sugar, butter, maple syrup, cocoa powder and vanilla paste in mixing bowl then cook 12 min/Varoma/speed 2.
Carefully pour into a heatproof bowl and allow to cool before serving.
Tips
Serve warm or at room temperature with assorted fresh fruit, biscuits and/or cubed cake.
Make your own vanilla bean paste: place 6-10 whole vanilla bean pods into mixing bowl and grind 20 sec/speed 10 or until pulverised. Add 3 Tbsp pure vanilla extract and 2 tsp xanthan gum (optional) then stir 3 sec/speed 3. Transfer into a glass jar and use as required.
Vanilla bean paste can be replaced with vanilla extract.
For a truly murky mud dip, sprinkle crushed chocolate wafer biscuits on top of dip before serving. |
